Mossman Park – 2008
In April 2008 I traveled with my pal Bev to her vacation house in Searsport, Maine. We took pictures in the park overlooking the beach – it was Sunday, April 20th, at 9:30 am. I took 2 circular landscapes sets - 9 images each, that stand separately or can be strung together as a circular panorama. I bundled these sets into a box and presented the package to Bev as a thank you and memento of our weekend. I made an extra set for me.
Each photo is trimmed to 7" square, translated to black and white, and filtered with Photoshop's crosshatch to create a sharp and abstracted quality. Photos have each been dry mounted to card stock. The box, approximately the same dimensions, is 1 1/2" deep. Click on the main photo to move through the series.
